June Frischhertz Waguespack, who lived with loving care in all the roles of her life; daughter, granddaughter, sister, niece, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and good friend, died on May 30, 2012. Born on November 28, 1934. Guided by great grandmother, Grandmother and mother she grew up on Desire St. in New Orleans went to Holy Angels Academy, Saint Anthony of Padua School and Dominican High School. Support by loving neighbors Gail Stone, Jeane Spellman, Tecla Mekdesi, Agnus McGowen and many others and beloved house keepers the Charles sisters; she raised her children in Old Aurora in Algiers, LA. The daughter of the late Marguerite Flattmann Massett and Francis “Frank”Frischhertz, and stepdaughter of Louis Robert Massett, Sr. Her grandparents were William T. Flattmann (PawPaw) and Margaret Bennett (Fatty) and Francis Firschhertz and Elizabeth Wymann Frischhertz. Her great grandparents were Charles Bennett and Annie Buzoni Bennett of New Orleans, LA. She is survived by her siblings: Louis Massett (Karen), Ronald Massett (Darlene) and Eugene Frischhertz (Ennie). June was the wife of William J. Waguespack III and raised five children, William J “Chip” Waguespack IV(deceased), Laurie Ann W. Hill, Jeffrey T. Waguespack (Jackie Phillips), Randall D. Waguespack (Bobbie Lynn Jacomin), and Raymond C. Waguespack (Jeanne Hoffmann). Grand mother of Lynn Hart W. Ridolfo (Jason), Daniel J. Waguespack (Sara), Amy B.Waguespack, Holly H. Floyd (Stephen), Ainslie Hill, Kaylin Hill, Victoria Waguespack, Benjamin Waguespack and Stephany Grunsten. June was a model with Star Studios and actress doing print and life TV advertisements back in the late 50’s thru mid 60’s. Although she was challenged with bi-polar disorder all here life, she overcame it and gave help to many friends after their stay at SE LA hospital in Covington, LA or in Charity Hospital, especially the Talmadge Terrace Methodist Facility staff in Athem ,GA. Her children would like to thank the many aunt’s and uncle’s,nurses and doctors, who helped her though out her live and her many friends, especially Audrey Huff and Pearlene Dove who have enriched us. She was a grand communicator and stayed in touch with family and friends by phone for years, especially The Buggs Bunny Swooners and a special thanks to Mrs. Anna Rousell, her life long friend and fellow Katrina refugee. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Wednesday, June 6, 2012 from 9:30 AM until 11AM a Mass to follow.
