Judy Marse Ziegel

Judy Marse Ziegel at the age of 63 years passed away peacefully to be with Christ our Lord on September 15, 2017. She was the beloved wife of the late William L. Ziegel. Mother of Larry J. Ziegel (Kelly) and Jason L. Ziegel (Amber Aragon). She was a proud grandmother of 5 grandchildren Bailey, Austin, Lauren, Madalyn and Quinn. Sister of Lloyd Marse (Beverly), Floyd Marse, Kenneth Marse and the late Regis Marse Sr. (the late Dennie). Daughter of the late Phillip Marse Jr. and Virgie Trosclair. Also survived by nieces, nephews, other loving relatives and friends. She grew up in the city of Westwego and was a lifelong resident of Waggaman. She enjoyed playing bingo and escaping to the coast. She was the rock of her family and lived to be the mother and grandmother to those who she loved. But most of all she adored spending time with her grandchildren. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Saturday, September 23, 2017 from 10 AM to 1:30 PM. Services will follow in the funeral home chapel, conducted by Rev. Leo DeJesus. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park in Gretna.
