Jeanne Marie Andry Lamia, age 44 entered into eternal rest on Thursday, January 16, 2014. Beloved wife of David M. Lamia for 21 years. Loving daughter of Arthur Joseph Andry and Joan Mary Silver Andry. Devoted and loving mother of Jonathan David Lamia and Joseph Matthew Lamia. Loving sister of Rachel Robin Andry and Bethany Lynn Andry Lescale (James). Godmother of Leonora “Ellie” Andry and Barret Arthur Lescale. Granddaughter of the late Earl Silver, Sr., Leonora Silver, Albert S. Andry, Sr. and Rose Mary Andry. Jeanne is a retired teacher with the Archdiocese of New Orleans School System. She was also a Eucharistic Minister at St. Joachim Catholic Church. A visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Monday, January 20, 2014 from 6PM until 9PM. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Tuesday from 10AM until 12:30PM. A Funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 4401 7th Street, Marrero, LA on Tuesday at 1PM. Interment will be in Westlawn Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
