Janssen George Trauth

Janssen George Trauth passed away on July 21, 2017. Beloved husband of the late Myrna Delaune Trauth. Son of the late Theresa Jones Trauth and Joseph Xavier Trauth Sr. Father of David Trauth (Janet), Suzanne T. Autin (Kurt), Dennis Trauth (Julie), Timothy Trauth (Michelle), Jan T. Soulant (Scott), and Terilyn T. DeBat (David). Grandfather of 15 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. Brother of Jerry Trauth (Beverly), Jon Trauth (Terri), the late Joseph Trauth (Winnie) and the late Jean Trauth. Age 85 years, a native of Algiers, LA and resident of Fairhope, AL for the past 11 years.
Janssen graduated from Behrman High School and served his country in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War. He graduated from Loyola University-New Orleans with a degree in Business Administration. He later retired as a marketing representative for N.O.P.S.I / Entergy.
Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 1300 Vallette St., Algiers, LA on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at 11 AM. Visitation will be held from 9 AM until funeral time. Interment will be private.
