Jane Ellen Henning Buchert passed away September 5, 2017. Beloved wife of the late George Buchert, Jr. by second marriage and the late Gary Dufour, Sr. by first marriage. Mother of D’Ann Stephens (Todd) and the late Gary Dufour, Jr. Grandmother of Kyle Stephens and Kate “Katie” Stephens. Daughter of the late Stanley Henning, Sr. and Clara Caddin Henning. Sister of Jill Koenig (late Ronald) and the late Stanley Henning, Jr. (late Mildred “Gertrude”). Godmother and aunt of Rona Cristadoro (Kenny). Aunt of Robin Curley (Kerry), Kathy McFarland (Jimmy), and the late Rick Henning, Michael Henning, Steven Henning, and a host of great-nieces and great-nephews. Age 73 years, a native of Algiers, LA and resident of Marrero, LA. Jane worked for A-1 Lock & Leave It for 16 years. She will be deeply missed by her family and friends.
Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey, LA on Saturday, September 9, 2017 at 1 PM.
