Jacqueline Lauricella "Jackie" Cambre

Jacqueline “Jackie” Lauricella Cambre passed away on March 29, 2015 at the age of 78 years. Beloved wife of Lester R. Cambre, Sr. Mother of Belinda C. Constant (Ronnie), Wendy C. Bush (Rick) and Lester R. Cambre Jr. (April). Grandmother of Troy (Jackie), Brian (Cheri), Travis, Lester III (Lara), Blair (Ashley), Majken (Dustin), Brennan (Maegan), Devyn, Cambre (Joshua) and Kailyn. Great-grandmother of Austin, Dylan, Lester IV, Jaycie, Landyn, Morgan, Malaya, Laiken, Kaiden, Bryson, Cheryl, Emma and one expectant great-grandchild. Sister-in-law of Suzanne Cambre, Leona Cambre and the late A.J. Cambre. Sister of Robert Soileau. Daughter of the late Frank Lauricella, Horace and Vernell Isemann Soileau. Also survived by many loving relatives and friends.
Jacqueline retired from Louisiana Gas Service where she worked in Human Resources. She was a devout member of St. Joseph Catholic Church where she served as sacristan. She was an officer and member of the St. Joseph Ladies Auxiliary, an organizer of the St. Joseph Altar, a longtime member of the Knights of Columbus Council #1905 Ladies Auxiliary, and was a proud recipient of the Order of St. Louis Medallion given for faithful service to her Church.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 600 Sixth Street in Gretna on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 from 8:30 AM to 10:30 AM. A Funeral Mass will follow. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park.
