Jacqueline Chauffe Hebert passed away on Friday, September 8, 2017 at the age of 83. Beloved wife of the late Harris Hebert. Mother of Lisa Batt (Frank) and Donna Watson (the late Herman). Daughter of the late Leonce and Althea Chauffe. Sister of Myrna Schultheis, her twin brother, Jackie Chauffe, and the late Gerald Chauffe, Barbara Oleal, and Paul Chauffe. Devoted grandmother of Celeste Gill, Kristen Burns, Brandon Watson, Courtney Dawkins, and Stephen Callahan. Great grandmother of Marissa Schmitt, Rachel Schmitt, Ally Burns, Cayden Mullinax and Elijah Dawkins. She was a hair stylist on the Westbank for 34 years. She enjoyed coloring and reading and loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was a native of the Westbank and a resident of Georgia for the past four and a half years. Relatives and friends of the family, also residents of Wynhoven Apartments are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy., Harvey, LA on Tuesday, September 12, 2017 at 1pm. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held at at the funeral home on Tuesday morning from 11am until 1pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the American Kidney Fund, kidneyfund.org. Family and friends may view and sign the online guest book at www.mothefunerals.com .
