Helen Barthe McGaughey peacefully entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at the age of 41. Former wife of James “Jim” McGaughey. Loving mother of Corbett James McGaughey. Beloved daughter of Pam Barthe and the late Ernest Barthe, Sr. Devoted sister of Angela "Angie” Barthe Roberts (Ted) and Ernest Paul Barthe, Jr. (Carla). Aunt of Jace Michael Alimia and Taylor Marie Barthe. Helen is also survived by a host of cousins and other relatives and friends. She was born in Marrero, LA and was a resident of Gretna, LA. 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Saturday, May 13, 2017 from 9:30AM until 1:30PM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Saturday at 1:30PM. Interment will be in Restlawn Park Cemetery, Avondale, LA.
