Frank A. Majorie Sr., age 83, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, January 22, 2018. He was born on September 30, 1934 to Odile Ives and Frank Majorie. Frank is survived by his wife of 62 years, Alice Guise Majorie; his three children, Frank Majorie Jr. (Lisa), Jody M. Lefort (Jody G.) and Mark Majorie Sr. (Angie); four grandchildren, Chad Majorie (Erin), Mark Majorie Jr. (Meagan), Jessie Marie Majorie and Evan Lefort; three great-grandchildren, Stella Majorie, Nico Majorie and Edi Majorie.
Frank was retired from Avondale Shipyard after 30 years of service. He was an avid fisherman and outdoorsman.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Thursday, January 25, 2018 from 9 AM to 1:30 PM. A Funeral Mass will follow in the funeral home chapel. Interment Gate of Heaven Mausoleum in Westwego.
