Florence Allemand Nicosia passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 28, 2018 at the age of 90. Beloved wife of the late John Raymond Nicosia. Mother of Keith James Nicosia and the late Priscilla Nicosia Blanchard. Mother-in-law of Royce Jude Blanchard. Daughter of the late Ramona and Adam Allemand. Sister of the late Mae Allemand Guidroz, Aline Allemand Doucet, Rene, Edwis and Edwin Allemand.
Beloved grandmother of Barrett Royce Blanchard (Cristina) and Blake James Nicosia. Great grandmother of Lyla Rose Blanchard and Royce Jude Blanchard, II. Also survived by nieces and nephews. She loved spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was a parishioner of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church. She was a native of Lockport, LA and a lifelong resident of Marrero, LA. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy., Harvey, LA on Tuesday, April 3, 2018 at 11am.
