Fabaria “Fay” Ann Carpenter peacefully entered into eternal rest on Saturday, January 6, 2018 at the age of 74. Beloved wife of Carle Laine Carpenter for 52 years. Daughter of the late Oscar Thomas Dunnamvet and Francis Badeaux. Loving mother of Marcus Carpenter (Tanya), Karrie Ann Robichaux, Janet Marie Hamblin, Carla Carpenter Lacour (Kevin) and the late Virgil “Sonny” Eugene Hamblin. Sister of Oscar V. Dunnamvet and the late Melvina Acosta, Virginia Bergeron and Polly Moody. Fay is survived by 9 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Fay was born in New Orleans, LA and was a resident of Des Allemands, LA. She and her husband, Carle were longtime owners of United Motor Exchange in New Orleans, LA. Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 from 11AM until 1PM. Funeral Services will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday at 1PM. Interment will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
