Edwin B. Peneguy, Sr.

Edwin B. Peneguy, Sr. peacefully entered into eternal rest on Friday, August 11, 2017 at the age of 72. Beloved husband of Cathy D. Hymel Peneguy. Son of the late Edwin L. Peneguy and Jane Marlowe Peneguy. Father of Ed Peneguy, Jr. (Cammie) and Gerrylyn Peneguy Deloume (Jon). Paw Paw to Julianne and Colette Deloume, whom held a special place in his heart. Brother of Barbara Peneguy Branford, Don Peneguy and Harry Peneguy (Ellie). Uncle to numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. An accomplished musician, Edwin was honored to be inducted into both the Louisiana Musician Hall of Fame and the Westbank Musician Hall of Fame. Ed “Eddie” shared his talent by volunteering at various facilities bringing joy through his music. Edwin served his country while enlisted in the United States Air Force. He is a retired employee from Lockheed Martin after many years of service. He will be deeply missed by the many who loved him and whose lives he touched. Family and friends are invited to attend the memorial visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Thursday, August 17, 2017 from 5PM until 7PM. Memorial Services will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 7PM.
