Doris Lemoine Pares passed away Thursday, August 3, 2017. Beloved wife of the late William W. Pares, Jr., Post Master of Gretna, LA. Mother of Gwendolyn Tague (Don Sr.), Rickie Pares, Sherri Robichaux (Tony), and Allisen Michell (Doug). Grandmother of Don Michael Tague (Denise), Travis Tague (Lisa), Aislinn Hinyup (Tom), Rickie Pares, Jr. (Adrienne), Kyle Robichaux (Monica), Craig Robichaux (Breck), Dorian Daigneault (Ben), Derek Michell (Dana), and Ryan Michell. Great-grandmother of 14. Daughter of the late Anna Gilbeau Lemoine and Emanuel Lemoine. Sister of Ruby Casemore (late Virgil), and the late Francis Lemoine (late Alice), Bernard Lemoine (late Shirley), Thelma Couvillion (late Vance), Vincent "Aaron" Lemoine (Mary Ann), James Lee Lemoine, and Allen Lemoine (late Beatrice "Tat"). Age 89 years, a native of Algiers, LA and longtime resident of Gretna, LA. Doris was a wonderful mother and grandmother. She is lovingly remembered for her outgoing personality and being the center of attention. She will be deeply missed by all.
Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Anthony Catholic Church, Gretna, LA on Monday, August 7, 2017 at 12 noon.
