Denim Michael Thibodeaux passed away on Friday, January 19, 2018. Beloved father of Camden and Casey Thibodeaux, children of Alexis Louapre. Son of Donald and Wendy Thibodeaux. Brother of Destin Thibodeaux (Crystal). Godfather of Ciera Thibodeaux and Morris Himel, III. Godson of Barbara Savoie and Morris Himel, Jr. Grandson of the late Anna Lee Cadiere and Glen Thibodeaux, Morris Himel, Sr. and Gail Gauthreaux Himel. Step-grandson of Norris Cadiere. Fiance of Brandy Purdy, mother of Kassie Young. Also survived by cousins and other relatives. He was a lover of baseball and was an avid N.Y. Yankee fan and also loved the New Orleans Saints. Who Dat!! He was a 1996 graduate of DeLaSalle High School where he played and lettered in baseball. Denim was a people person and an animal lover and was a lifelong resident of the Westbank. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the chapel of Mothe Funeral Home, 2100 Westbank Expwy., Harvey, LA on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at 1:30pm. Interment, Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home from 9am until 1:30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to Bridge House.
