Darryl Carl Childress, Sr. of Joshua, passed away Monday October 30, 2017. Beloved husband of Susan Childress. Father of Tiffany J. Childress, Evelyn Childress, Darryl Childress, Jr., and David Childress. Also survived by his mother, Jude Childress; brothers, Robert Childress (Amy), and Mark Childress (Lelly); and other loving extended family and friends. He retired after 26 years of service in law enforcement with Jefferson Parish Sherriff's Office.
