Connie Camus Orgeron

Connie Lynn Camus Orgeron passed away on Wednesday, January 21, 2015. Beloved wife of Chester J. Orgeron, Jr. for 53 years. Mother of Alice O. Moak (Benny), Chester Orgeron, III, and the late Karen O. Provenzano (David) and an infant son. Daughter of the late Lloyd J. Camus, Sr. and Betty Brown Camus. Sister of Lloyd J. Camus, Jr. (June), and the late Richard “Red” Camus, Judy C. Martin, Gwen C. Oubre, and Cynthia C. Biers. Grandmother of Douglas Schilling (Jessica), Ashley Guy (Andy), Monica Hebert, Hut Moak, Sherri Webb (Kody), Kristi Provenzano (Brance), Chester Orgeron IV, Judy Orgeron, Savanna and Amber Bates. Also survived by 17 great-grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews. Age 70 years, a native of the Westbank of New Orleans, and a resident of Mt. Hermon, LA. She was a homemaker, known as “the boss,” and enjoyed spending her free time at casinos, especially playing Keno, and a few memorable trips to Las Vegas as well.
Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Parlor of MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expressway, Harvey, LA on Wednesday, January 28, 2015 at 11 AM. Interment Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA. Visitation will be from 9 AM until funeral time.
