Clarence Anthony Guidry Sr

Clarence Anthony Guidry, Sr. was received into the loving arms of Jesus on Monday, February 23, 2015 at the age of 91. He resided in Houma, LA for most of his life and most recently a resident of Gretna, LA. Beloved husband of Betty Ricks Guidry for 16 years. Father of Clarence Jr. (Charline), Charmaine, and James Guidry (Angel), Rebecca McMeel (Robert), and Jamie Dardar (Mike). Pops to John Harris (Madge), Kathleen Sturgeon (Tim), Arthur H. Maurel Jr. (Odette), Karen Rogers (John), and Kerry Fox (Robert). Grandfather of Mark, Sherrie, Jennifer, Amber, Margaret, Dawn, Matt, Elijah, Sarah, Rebecca and Philip. Great grandfather of a host of great grandchildren. Preceded in death as an infant by his biological parents Lauve and Zeah Pinelle Guidry. Adopted son of the late James and Minnie Chauvin. Brother of the late Mae Guidry Danos (Wahl), and the late biological brother and sister Guidry. He leaves to mourn a host of loving stepchildren, step grandchildren, and step great grandchildren. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Memorial Service at Church of Abundant Life Reception Hall, 2301 Par 3 Drive, Harvey, LA on Thursday, February 26, 2015 at 11 AM.
