Cary Patrick Barras

Cary Patrick Barras was called by his Savior to Heaven on Saturday, August 16, 2014, at the age of 54. He passed of a pulmonary embolism. Born January 11, 1960, a native of Terrytown, he was the beloved husband of Jean Lawson Barras. Father of Colleen Barras Langlois (Joshua) and Amy Barras Ragan (Andy). Devoted grandfather of Connor and Emerson Langlois. Son of the late Lee Joseph Barras, Jr. and the late Hilda Miller Barras. Brother of Brian Barras and Christian Barras. Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the visitation at Mothe Funeral Home, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Wednesday, August 20, 2014 from 10 AM to 1 PM. A Funeral Mass will follow in the funeral home chapel. Interment at Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery, Gretna, LA.
