Carolyn "Sue" Thibodeaux Dilworth

Carolyn “Sue” Thibodeaux Dilworth passed away peacefully on January 22, 2018 at the age of 72 years. Beloved wife of the late John “Big John” Dilworth. Mother of Todd Dilworth (Candace), Dana Dilworth and Ginger Dilworth (Sheena). Grandmother of Jordan, Kalley, Kandyce and Marcel. Great-grandmother of Brynleigh and Greyson. Sister of Clarence Thibodeaux (the late Stacy), Rudy Thibodeaux (Pamela) and Reed Thibodeaux (Cindy). Godmother of Rudy, Daniel and Toni. Daughter of the late Theodore and Ida Mae Dufrene Thibodeaux. Also survived by other loving relatives and many friends.

She worked as a hairdresser for many years and retired from Jefferson Parish Public Schools as a cafeteria worker at Joshua Butler Elementary School. She was active in the Westwego Senior Center and loved to be with her family and friends. While her passing is sorrowful, her life and legacy will be celebrated.

Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass in the Chapel of MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 2100 Westbank Expy., Harvey, LA on Friday, January 26, 2018 at 1:30 PM. Interment Gate of Heaven Mausoleum in Westwego. Visitation will take place on Thursday from 5 PM to 9 PM, resuming on Friday from 8 AM to 1:30 PM.
