Caroline Myrtle Gladys Sexton Blanchard

Caroline Myrtle Gladys Sexton Blanchard was born in Eunice, LA on July 16, 1936 and passed away peacefully on September 17, 2017. She was a lifelong resident of Buras, LA. She is predeceased by her parents, Sedgwick Joseph Sexton and Gladys F. Davy Sexton; her husband, Moise Joseph Blanchard Jr.; her brother, Sedgwick Joseph Sexton Jr.; her step-brother, Gladstone Emile “Sugar Boy” Villemont; her daughter, Robin Blanchard Rousse and her son, Robert Paul Blanchard as well as four of her grandsons, David James Fabiano (Trish), Christopher Paul Blanchard (Robert), Elijah Anthony Rousse and Edward Joseph Rousse Jr.
She is survived by her sister, Lavella Jacqulin Sexton Seawright; surviving children, Collins Joseph Blanchard Jr., Rod Joseph Blanchard Sr., Kathryn G. Blanchard Cheramie (Nicky), Moise “Mo” Joseph Blanchard III, Trish Blanchard Adam (Brad) and Sabrina Blanchard Watson (Lim); her daughter-in-law, Sybil Blanchard and two step-daughters, Marsha Blanchard Matthews (Lynn) and Gloria Jean Blanchard Hyman (Garry). Also survived by 25 grandchildren along with numerous great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
She was a member of St. Patrick Catholic Church in Port Sulphur, LA and retired from Ace Hardware in Port Sulphur.
Relatitves and friends are invited to attend the Memorial Services at St. Patrick Catholic Church in Port Sulphur, LA on Friday, September 22, 2017 at 4 PM.
