Caldon Jean Ford, Jr. passed away on Thursday, September 21, 2017. Son of the late Isabella Cheramie Ford and Caldon J. Ford, Sr. Father of Cynthia Ford Brown (Lloyd), Lisa Ford, Dino Cantrelle (Sharon), Jason Ford (Michelle), Shannon Ford Rohlinger (Neil), and the late Anthony Ford, Caldon J. "C.J." Ford, III, Jody Cantrelle, and Sean Ford. Brother of Michael Ford (Gaylynn), Sylvia Ford, Kathy Ford, Susan Ford Smith (John), Roger Ford (Toni), Joel Ford (Kathy), and the late Carl Ford, Patricia Ford, Shirley Ford Propes, and Ann Ford. Former husband of Marjorie East Ford. Grandfather of 12 and great-grandfather of 13. Also survived by 20 nieces and nephews. Age 81 years and a lifelong resident of Marrero, LA. Caldon worked for Dresser Atlas and Schlumberger as a Pipeline Recovery Engineer and later retired as a school bus driver for Jefferson Parish Schools. He was also a club manager with the Petroleum Club and the Bali Hai at Pontchartrain Beach.
Relatives and Friends of the Family are invited to attend the Visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 2100 Westbank Expy, Harvey, LA on Monday, September 25, 2017 from 11 AM until 1 PM.
