Bridget Simoneaux Rivere

Bridget Simoneaux Rivere, age 94, a native of Napoleonville and resident of Westwego, LA died Monday, January 19, 2015 at 8:20PM. Beloved wife of the late Joseph Seraphin Rivere. Daughter of the late John B. Simoneaux, Sr. and Clemence A. Simoneaux. Mother of Catherine R. Dufrene, Gustave J. Rivere (Geraldine), Patricia R. Sexton and Lois R. Guidry (Carl). Sister of Anna Mae Hebert (Ridley), John B. Simoneaux, Jr. (Rosetta) and the late Mildred Rodrigue, Celine Breaux, John Simoneaux, Jr., Vivian Boudreaux, Mabel Rivero and Dorothy Naquin. Also survived by 12 grandchildren, 18 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. The family would like to extend a sincere appreciation to Notre Dame Hospice Care for their love, care and compassion. Bridget’s visitation will be held at MOTHE FUNERAL HOME, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Wednesday, January 21, 2015 from 6PM until 11PM. Visitation will resume at the funeral home on Thursday, January 22, 2015 from 8AM until 11AM. A Funeral Mass will be held at the funeral home on Thursday at 11AM. Interment will be in Gate of Heaven Mausoleum (Our Lady of Prompt Succor Cemetery), Westwego, LA.
