Bernice Landry Haney

Bernice Landry Haney, a native of Harvey, LA and a longtime resident of Algiers, LA, passed away on Friday, August 4, 2017 at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Teddy J. Haney and longtime friend of the late Walter Carraway. Loving mother of MaryAnn Buquoi (Tim), Thomas Haney (Kathy), Philip Haney (Tammy) and the late Michael Haney. Grandmother of Kellie Haney, Tony Bychurch, Mandy Haley, Philip and Jordon Craddock-Haney. Step grandmother of Dillon and Michael Entrekin. Great grandmother of Devin and Tavin Haney, Joleigh Neale, Noah Bychurch, Emily and Elizabeth Haley. Step grandmother of Christine Bishop, Michael, Jr., Stone, Carin and Giovana Entrekin. Sister of Elberta Roussel, Hilda Kellum, David, Harry, Earl Landry and the late Ruby Wright, Willie Mae Michel, Walter, Sidney, Wilbert, Milton and Clinton Landry. Daughter of the late Octavia Guidry Landry and Jean Edward Landry.
Mrs. Haney was retired from AT&T (Bellsouth) after 27 years of service in Directory Assistance. She was also a member of the Telephone Pioneers. In lieu of flowers, Masses Preferred.
