Angeline Paternostro Blanchard

Angeline Paternostro Blanchard passed away peacefully on July 22, 2017 at the age of 67 years. Beloved wife of 50 years to Gale J. Blanchard. Loving mother of Andrew J. Blanchard (Rise Ray) and Christine A. Zeller (Scott). Grandmother of Bryan, Joshua and Amanda. Great-grandmother of Addi and Bailey. Sister of Donovan Doucet, Diane Paternostro Ragas, the late Patricia and Geraldine Paternostro. Daughter of the late Charlene Hopel Paternostro Doucet, Angelo Paternostro and Francis Doucet. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
Angeline was raised in Gretna, LA and lived for many years in Marrero, LA. She loved outings with her friends and her beloved Gale. She was a talented home cook and her gumbo would always bring the family together. A loving wife, mother, daughter, sister and friend, Angeline will be sadly missed, but her life and legacy will be celebrated.
Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the visitation at MOTHE FUNERAL HOMES, 7040 Lapalco Blvd., Marrero, LA on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 from 10 AM to 1 PM. Services will follow in the funeral home chapel.
